M.Video-Eldorado Group continues to operate as an online business
30 March 2020, Moscow, Russia. PJSC M.Video (M.Video-Eldorado Group, the Company, or the Group), Russia's largest consumer electronics retailer by revenue (MOEX: MVID), announces that at the time of critical phase of epidemiological situation and in compliance with applicable regulations the Group managed to reshape its business processes in a way that would allow people to stay at home, but still get access to socially-important products such as consumer electronics. M.Video and Eldorado provide for online order and payment, contact-free courier delivery and contact-free in-store pickup, that remain open as collection points for online orders or “dark stores” (if local regulations do not say otherwise). The health and safety of our employees, customers and their families is an absolute priority for us. We understand that consumer electronics are of social importance: smartphones, notebooks and other mobile devices are absolutely essential for online shopping, stating connected with relatives and friends, payments and work from home, as well access to public and educational services. Fridges or washing machines perform vital household functions. Generally, these products are needed quickly, so we transfer our retail operations to online.
In accordance with law and local regulations, M.Video and Eldorado will transfer all operations with customers to online platforms, offering contact-free delivery and contact-free in-store pickup. Both brands will operate as contact-free pickup points and dark stores to service online orders, shopping areas will be closed for general public. We also temporarily suspend in-home service and maintenance – installations and fine-tuning of equipment – to minimize social contact.

Our top priority as employer is caring for our people. We do everything in our power to create safe working conditions for customers and team members, and ensure employment and income for staff. For this we strengthen our focus on contact-free delivery and online operations. Each team member has a few options to temporarily switch to other duties or continue work to support online orders. We also fully paid March salary, so that staff members could solve unplanned personal issues. All staffers who feel unwell stay at home on paid sick leave. We are very grateful to everyone who in these difficult times is ready to continue work and help other people with vital shopping. Irrespective of store format, we continue to abide by all sanitary requirements – before start of work all staff members measure their body temperature, regularly wash hands and use sanitizers, all locations undergo sanitary processing.

Free safe delivery
We will deliver prepaid orders and orders in excess of RUB 2,990 to your home free of charge and leave them at your door. If you pay online or via the app, we offer 5% discount. We have increased the number of logistics partners and delivery service employees, as well as call center operators who can help to clarify order details and answer your questions. Despite these measures, please be aware that there may still be delays. We hope for your understanding.
60 days for exchanges and returns
Given the current situation, we have extended the period for returning or exchanging undamaged goods, which is legally set at 14 days. All purchases from M.Video or Eldorado, including online orders, can be returned or exchanged within 60 days. Exchange and return of faulty items can be done within 30 days, so that people can stay at home and not worry about these purchases.
Automatic order extension
In-store pickup orders that have not yet been collected will be automatically renewed for a month, so that people can plan a convenient time for contactless pickup.
